This is a Wendy Maruyama Mickey Mackintosh chair deconstruction. Two iconic postmodernism symbols: Mickey mouse and Charles Rennie Mackintosh furniture. Designed by Wendy Maruyama in 1981 was displayed in V&A museum of London on postmodernism exhibition. I loved dynamics shapes and finishes of this piece. It has a lot of thought behind. Miss Blanche was designed in 1988 and produced from 1989. In 1998 the production of the chair ended with the 56th chair to honor Kuramata who died at the of 56.
